Multiply volume and mass by 2 (price is meaningless). [3] Functions as Electronics Lab or Machine Shop (but not both at once) [4] General physical sciences Lab [5] Functions as Sickbay and Biosciences Lab Note on power consumption: FIDELITY has a lot of power-hungry systems which were not present on the standard commercial vessel. Since the original power plant has been retained, it is no longer possible to power all systems at all times. FIDELITY's power plant covers the 51.337Mw "hotel load" (the systems, including life support, that are always powered-on, and produces and additional 288.663Mw which can be assigned to systems on demand. Systems which have their power requirement in [square brackets] are not always powered-on, but must have their operating power assigned. For example, the maneuver drive and the contra-grav system use nearly all of the available power, and so the EMS jammer can't be used when these systems are in use. There is no performance penalty for carrying the tanks, and they do not have to be shed before jump. Nominal Crew: Engineers: 3 Electronics: 1 to 4 [a] Maneuver: 2 Gunnery: 2 Maintainance 1 Flight: 4 Command: 1 or 2 [b] [a] FIDELITY has insufficient power to operate all sensor and communicator systems at once. While a communications/sensors watch of 4 would be [b] FIDELITY (strictly speaking) requires a bridge and a command crew of 2 due to the large number of sensors and communicators, and due to the fact that she operates a carried craft. With reduced electronics staff, and no flight operations in combat, FIDELITY can avoid the need for a bridge. required to operate all systems at once, a single crewmember is sufficient for ordinary operations involving no more than 5 systems. Survey Operations: The _FIDELITY_ supports save long-range survey operations by providing ample fuel and acting as a base for detailed exploration of a system. Assuming she starts with her fuel tanks full, she can: Perform a Jump-2 into the target system Perform an in-system microjump or maneuvers totalling 4 G-Hours Perform a return Jump-2 to the originating system Perform maneuvers totalling 11.5 G-Hours. Normal operations would have the FIDELITY make a J-1 or J-2 into the target system, arriving 100 diameters from a suitable gas giant. From this position, she could survey the system using the remote sensors available, while the fuel skimmer refilled her tanks. From this point, she could perform a microjump to a point 100 diameters from the mainworld or other survey target, and release the lander to perform a detailed survey of the item of interest. In an emergency, or if refueling were not successfull, FIDELITY could execute a J-1 or J-2 back to any world (preferably one with a fuel source!) within range. Guy "Derek Wildstar" Garnett
