Six Lobachevsky class Fleet Tenders were built by the Imperial Glisten Navy prior to the outbreak of the Fifth Frontier War. The lack of an integral fuel scooping and processing capability limits the strategic mobility of the vessels, and construction of the planned class of large tankers to accompany the Lobachevskys was disrupted due to the war. It has not been restarted. The carried squadron consists of 15 of the reliable 10000ton riders, and these squadrons performed adequately during the war. Consideration is being given to the possibility of refitting all six tenders to carry the Type NX battlerider. P> It should be noted that performance of the tender is substantially better after the riders have been dropped. Maximum acceleration is then 3.5G.
