The Falchion-B is intended as a light grav tank. Essentially a modification of the Falchion heavy tank, the hull has been reconfigured to take maximum advantage of the increased speed gained as a result of reducing the armor. The main gun reduction permits a substantially smaller power plant, in turn leading to a further decrease in weight, and allowing a substantial increase in endurance. Crew accommodations were increased in size, and can be occupied for extended periods if necessary.
