The Macedonian is a typical heavy grav tank design. It is large, heavy, and not particularly fast. Since antilaser aerosols and smoke can severely degrade the battlefield performance of the main armament, a 12cm mass driver cannon is carried as a backup. Both weapons are mounted in a remote turret, and they cannot be fired simultaneously due to the power supply. The MD gun can also be used for indirect fire support.
