The fusion rocket module is still experimental at TL8, but the large thrust available makes its use very attractive.
Notes: Dow Rieder has suggested that a fuel consumption 100 times higher would be more reasonable for a fusion rocket, and in the case of this TL8 experimental version, 200 times higher would be reasonable. Thus, this module could provide the listed thrust for about 4 hours before requiring refueling, still respectable compared to the plasma drive unit.
