The Model 29B is produced by Pegasus Industries of Overnale for export to a variety of local markets. The Model 29B is built on the Model 29 medium tank chassis. The armor is somewhat heavier than would be expected on an artillery vehicle, but the designers felt that the possibility of attack by grav equipped forces and the potential for use as a direct fire assault gun were sufficient to justify the design. The vehicle is provided with a sealed environment system to permit operations in NBC conditions. One heavy machine gun is mounted on a pintle alongside the commanders hatch. Due to the comparatively low ammunition capacity, the Model 29B is usually teamed with an armored ammunition carrier. P>
